Programs we fund

PTA dollars and volunteer hours go directly back into the DFE campus and classrooms.

1

STEAM Lab & Learning Garden

Our current flagship initiative: a fully outfitted indoor lab and outdoor garden where kids build science, tech, engineering, art, and math skills hands-on.

2

Twiglet Bank

A student-run, on-campus bank where kids open real accounts and learn to save — one of the things that makes DFE genuinely one of a kind.

3

Reading Program

Accelerated Reader, the Birthday Book Club, Lunch Bunch, our annual Book Fair, and ongoing support for the Media Center — building lifelong readers.

4

Campus & classroom extras

Past PTA gifts include soccer goals and PE netting, outdoor classroom seating and shade, and upgrades to the Twiglet Bank caboose.
